The first time I went to Greenmill in AL, the pizza was so undercooked, that we could raise the dough high off of the platter. The second time I went there, I had fish - and it was excellent. The third time I went there, I had the fish again - but this time, I felt myselft chewing paper. I lifted the fish to take a closer look - it had been cooked still wrapped in paper!! The waiters and waitresses are great, but the food scares me.

My boyfriend and I wanted to eat out one day and it was Mother's Day weekend - the blackhole of waiting to be seated. We went to Applebee's and it was a half hour wait or more. We then tried The Green Mill and were amazed - no wait! The food was fantastic. A little pricier than other restaurants perhaps, but worth it. The spinach dip appetizer was the best!
PROS: No Wait and Unobtrusive Sports Bar Atmosphere
CONS: No nice scenes to look out at through the windows
